The COVERPLUG Paintable Outlet Cover {Review}

Having a 2yr old is always a reason to have 15 sets of eyes on her at all times. But naturally you can't always. Where she is inquisitive and into everything, including outlets I had to see if there was something else to keep her safe.

Thankfully Coverplug let me review there 2 pack of their COVERPLUG paintable outlet covers.

They are your standard plastic and look just like your outlet covers without the holes, you don't need any tools to instal/put them in, it's quick and easy to do. They fit all standard electrical outlets. They are also pretty easy to remove, either you can pull them off, or without breaking a nail, stick a flat head screw driver behind it and pull forward.

It's also great because you can paint it so that it matches any room that you may need the plug, whether you want to hide the outlet or just keep curious little fingers out of harms reach.

They are made in the USA which is a big must for me.

The one fault, I did have is that although in theory it's a great design - it wasn't foolproof for my 2yr old tornado. She noticed that it was there the day after I put it in and she didn't see me place it either and immediately went to pull it out to try to plug something else in the spot. Now mind you this isn't something I encourage and she knows she isn't supposed to do it but is currently at the testing mommy stage. That isn't to say that other children wouldn't leave it alone but my toddler isn't your normal toddler, she is way smarter than most people give her credit for.

I would still highly recommend them because they do make your wall look simplified and clean and would still benefit a younger child. If there was one recommendation that I could make to cover plug, it might be to add some kind of clip or screw just in the center to firmly fold it in place.

Overall I would definitely considering purchasing more of these covers!

Glow Sticks {Review}

I love glow sticks and think they're extremely fun. My daughter enjoys them, so much so she decided she was going to drop them in the bathtub which was perfectly fine.

But then she was silly and decide she was going to drop them in the toilet! It was cool having them glow, but not so much having to throw them away while they're still glowing!

It was fun doing a review of these glowsticks from Good Stuff.

You get a huge tub of 100 sticks with 100 connectors. The possibilities are endless.

They do last a good 8hrs, from the time you crack them which is really good considering you can get other glow sticks that don't last that long.

There are TONS of colors ~ Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, and Pink. I did notice with the first pink one I cracked wasn't as bright as it should've been but didn't have any problems with the others.

Definitely saving a bunch for the 4th of July!

My daughter even put them in her face to pretend to be a walrus. Which I don't usually condone having her put them in her mouth especially when she is 2yrs old and still teething like a crazy girl.

I definitely think your children will have lots of fun with these anytime you want a little fun with glow sticks, whether it be outside during the summer around a bonfire or just having fun with friends.

Definitely check them out here and buy your own! ~ Glow Sticks

Konjac Facial Sponge {Review}

I had never heard of a Konjac Sponge before I did this review.

I was very excited to try it, it comes in a cute small brown box. When you take it out, you find a suction cup, and the spone all neatly sealed in plastic. When you first look at it, you'd almost think it's a chunk of cauliflower. That's honestly what I think every time I look at it.

The sponge is 100% Natural and has no chemicals or additives!

Konjac is a fiber that helps your skins oils and impurities. The sponge is really soft once you wet it and rub it on your face. When you scrub in circular motions, your helping to increase the blood flow in your face to help with skin cell growth.

Not to mention how soft your face feels. You can use this wet by itself or use your favorite cleanser for an even larger cleaning.

It's safe for all skin types especially sensitive skin, which I happen to have!! So much so I'm really not supposed to use anything with a scent but I do anyone and end up breaking out. So this was great to use and be okay with. They say it's even gentle enough for a baby.

There is no scent in it, or on it. It softly exfoliates your skin while cleansing and leaving your face feeling fresh and even give you a healthy glow.

This sponge is also compostable/biodegradable for those who are even more worried about where it ends up when you're done with it.

My only qualm with this was that although it included a suction cup to hang it up in the shower to let it air dry, the suction cup does not stick to tile walls, as this is the 2nd time I've found that out the hard way lately when I went to stick something up, so keep that in mind. I know most showers aren't tile but just a fair warning!

Over all, I loved using this on my face and would highly recommend it to anyone!

Garcinia/Cleanse ADVANCED Fast Weight Loss Kit {Review}

I'm all for weight loss since I'm having a hard time doing it on my own. When Team Innovations asked me to review their Garcinia/Cleanse Advanced Fast Weight Loss Kit, I was all for it.

The good thing about this cleanse is it helps you regulate, I know some tend to cause diarrhea and in this case, that didn't happen. I know myself personally, that is a concern when taking a cleanse because I'm a busy single mom and I don't have time to be stuck in the bathroom, unless I'm trying to hide and take a hot shower but we'll leave that for another post! It definitely helps decrease the bloated feeling in my belly. And I will say drinking water with this, makes me feel awesome on its own.

Now add in the Garcinia and we're talking amazing!!!

I've tried other ones before by themselves, but the two of these together are great. In the first week I took it, I immediately lost 4lbs!! Yes that's right. In just 4 days. That is awesome. I've also been great and cut out soda and with the garcinia being natural, I haven't wanted soda. I've felt refreshed and have more energy because it still has just enough caffeine to help me out, I can say taking this has also helped with me not having migraines. Its helped cut down my appetite as well.

I love that it's Gluten Free, because that is a concern for some of my readers, it's made in the USA, and it's 100% NATURAL!!

They both are easy to swallow capsules!

Organic Matcha - Green Tea Powder {Review}

I've heard of Organic Matcha for awhile but had never tried. I was hesitant but interested to try it at the same time.

Let me share with you Organic Matcha - Green Tea Powder by Kiss Me Organics. I've never been a tea drinker especially not green tea even though I've been told the health benefits for you are amazing.

This one is a very soft powder form and you can put it into food, drinks, even bake with it. When you purchase the powder they send you an EBook with recipes in it. I'm super picky when it comes to things I make and especially things I eat so I didn't try any of the recipes but there is quite a variety in there.

There are drinks/smoothies, breakfast, muffins, desserts, meals, etc.

I was kind of simple and just baked it into my brownies. When you open the powder it's a bright green and doesn't smell the most appetizing.

I had a couple tablespoons to the brownie powder mix (pictured) and you can see it sticks out ALOT. It definitely takes some getting used to as it has sort of an acquired taste, maybe its because I knew it was there.

However, I had 2 people try them and they never noticed the taste nor said anything but I do making amazing brownies. So it definitely is unknown when it's made into something like that. Typically if you use it in something else the color would come out a bright green!

Although I wasn't a huge fan of the taste, the benefits of green tea are amazing. It definitely helps kick your metabolism into gear, has skin health benefits, has more antioxidants than your regular tea, and it helps with your energy and focus.

Organic Rosehip Oil {Review & Giveaway}

I got the chance to review the Organic Rosehip Oil from Valentia Skin Care.

There is tons of vitamin C & A in the oil.

I mainly used it on my on my cuticles which made them super soft and helped for them not to get hangnails and tear off which happened alot when I work in healthcare and the continuous amounts of me washing my hands really takes a toll of my hands.
You may also use this on your hair as well to help bring life back to your hair, reduce the brittleness of it and increase utter smoothness.

This is also great for wrinkles, the antioxidants in it help diminish the early signs of aging and help reduce what you may already have.

I also did use this on my scar that I got ages ago just below my knee from a car accident at 16yrs old, this not only softened the skin their but helped get rid of the dryness of it, especially during the winter. It also kind of helped change the color to a white more then the redness that it's always been.

Ultimately it helped nourish and rehydrate my skin no matter how many times I used it, where I used it.
I will mention it has more of an oil smell than a rose smell but once you rub it into your skin you really won't notice.

They were also kind enough to let me give a bottle away!!
