Deco-Plate {Review & GIVEAWAY}

 I received a plate from Deco-Plate to review and it is adorable. The images on their website really don't do these plates justice. It being my daughter's 2nd Christmas I really wanted to have something personal to use for cookies and these plates are perfect. I haven't had a second to make cookies yet, though I did use it for a loaf of banana bread!

 I love that the plates are dishwasher, microwave and even oven safe!! They are made of a very durable plastic, when I took it out of the box I actually thought it was glass. It has the look of glass but the durability to sustain the harshness of little fingers. They are also 100% made in the USA!

You can also create a custom plate or platter with your own picture and wording so the possibilities are limitless. These would make a great keepsake, just because, or even a gift for any occasion. Of course they also have tons of pre-made designs already on their website for people to order. The website has all the designs grouped easily enough so you can search for holidays, kids, food, etc.

I think you will be very pleased if you order a plate from them. I'm very pleased and would definitely order more! They were also kind enough to allow me to give one away to one of my lucky followers!

Denver Aquarium -Colorado ONLY {Giveaway}

I have been to different Aquariums and one that has stood out to me has been the Denver Aquarium. The Denver Aquarium is more that just an under water adventure.

The Aquarium has it all. I love how interactive it is for children!

The Mermaids are another exciting feature. You can check out the Under the Sea show times Here. We missed the Mermaids on this trip but will be making sure our next visit will include them. If you have young children, they are a must see! I got a chance to see the Mermaids two years ago and loved it. Seeing a Mermaid is a unique experience that all kids will love.

A few other fun areas are the Shark Exhibit and you can also enjoy the Tigers along the way! I love that there is a great experience at every turn and angle. I loved it all. Some Extra Fun include The Aquarium Express Train, The 4D Theatre, The Carousel, The Coconut Tree Climb And Face Painting!

I recently had the opportunity to visit a Gordmans location. I had seen several commercials in the past and Gordmans had been in the back of my mind as a place I wanted to check out. I am huge on great bargains. I love cute clothing as long as it is economical. I had originally thought of Gordmans as a clothing store and walked in to see what I could find for my kids. Gordmans was more than just clothes!

The clothes I noticed were top brands. The prices on many of the items were surprisingly low. I do not want to disparage other companies so I will just put in that this is a store you will want to visit to compare before shopping for similar items. I wish I had taken some time to visit Gordmans during back to school season because I can see where we would have saved more money with the older kids.

Every where I looked I kept seeing cute home decor items I wanted to purchase.

A few areas that stood out to me were the Maternity section, kids and of course fantastic holiday items.

I loved that the tags showed normal prices for the items along with the price that Gordmans offers. Gordmans had many of the items that were perfect for traveling. A huge variety of Shoes, Clothes, extras such as childrens books, toys, tumblers, accesories, sunglasses, cute bags. I could not take the whole store. So Here are a few of the great finds that I grabbed.

One thing I loved about getting gas on the go is Shell was at each Gas stop that I made. Shell offers a locator and trip planner right on Shell.com to make things easier if you like to plan ahead like I do. When vacationing in Colorado there were a few days that the sun did not shine. Traveling in the Fall can be tricky because the weather can be great one day then a surprise on the next. We were not disappointed. I love that on any day of the week even if it is not so great outside Morgan could have some indoor fun. We were only there for a short while but I was able to see how much fun it would have been to have a Birthday Party at this location. It is worth while to have some fun at the price that they offer. Indoor bounce houses are everywhere!

It is nice that children at any age can enjoy what Jumpin Jordy's has to Offer including the cute little Toddler area. The three and four year olds even had a blast building with soft blocks and enjoying the comfort of the tunnel.

One of our favorite items while traveling turned out to be Moccasins! For the review we were sent the Freshly Picked Moccasins in SAND SUEDE. This was a perfect choice for both of us. For me this brought back so many memories of when I was younger. I had a pair of Moccasins and loved them. Since Morgan was first born this had been in the back of my mind. I was extremely excited when I found out about Freshly Picked. I have never seen such a variety of Moccasins before and knew this was going to be fun for her. The colors, choices and quality of these are unmatched.

It is not an easy task finding shoes that slip on easy without laces or frustrating velcro. When you have a toddler it not only saves you time but makes them happy when they can put on shoes by themselves. I tried Crocs for a while in the past which has been okay for the summer time but have been wanting something better quality for the fall. I found them.

Since going on our road trip the Freshly Picked Moccasins have been with us everywhere! Genuine Leather/Suede. Because of the good quality product these wear differently. Yoga is a love I have had since my early twenties and I knew the moment my daughter was born I wanted to share some of my passions with her. When vacationing there is a huge importance of keeping certain healthy habits going. Bringing something as simple as a yoga mat with us on the way with is a great way to keep us on track.
